This week we had a meeting with Water Matters (Our filter partner in Kenya) and Meshack, their local Kenyan ambassador. (See YouTube video)
He has already supported over 2,000 households in Loglogo Kenya with clean water solutions and and helped 500 of them to start home gardens.
Here's how it works:
Clean water -> Handwashing station (see embedded video) -> Composting -> Home garden
Meshack will be coming with us on our next trip to Ahero to help with training our local pastors on implementing these vital next steps after families receive clean water. Clean water is only the beginning.
